Overtrading
There is no need to be constantly in the market. On the contrary, less is more. Try to trade like a sniper. Prepare well and then hit the button when the signal comes.

Looking at the charts too much
Out of boredom, some traders study too many charts, even if there is no new information to be seen. As a result, they enter trades that would have been better to avoid. This leads to signals that are not trading signals at all.

Reading too much news
Quite a few traders look for "reasons" why they should take this or that trade. In order for them to find these reasons, they spend a lot of time reading "news." They believe that news moves prices (although it has been proven to be the other way around!).

Not accepting that every trade has a random expectation
It's really true: every single trade has an outcome that is purely random. Whether it will be a winning trade or a losing trade is out of your control. Your strategy can have a 60% chance of winning, and you'll still have losing trades 40% of the time. And you don't know when they will show up. That's why you need to be able to emotionally detach yourself from each trade.

Chasing a missed signal
You will experience this over and over again: You spot a trade setup, but for some reason you don’t get in. The last thing you should do now is chase the market. You missed the trade. Too bad, but the next trade is sure to come!

Conclusion:
As you can see, these five mistakes all have something to do with impatience. Good trading depends on the ability to wait for the right signal. If you can do that, you will make money. If you cannot, you will lose.
